Kilgore headed to UIL state soccer tournament

Kilgore defeated Frisco Panther Creek 2-0 on Saturday to advance to the state tournament

TYLER, Texas — The Kilgore Bulldogs are headed back to the UIL state soccer tournament

Kilgore defeated Frisco Panther Creek 2-0 on Saturday in the regional final at Christus Trinity Mother Frances Rose Stadium. 

Leo Yzaguirre and Adan Reyes each scored a goal for the Bulldogs.

This is the first time since 2017 that Kilgore has made the state tournament. They won the 4A state championship that season. 

Kilgore (25-2-2) will play Boerne (22-0) on Wednesday, April 10 at 4:00 p.m. in the state semifinal game.
