Tyler promotes local brewing through participation in Brew City, Texas

As a member of the program, which was launched by the Texas Craft Brewers Guild in March 2024, Tyler hopes to affirm its dedication to promoting craft beer tourism.

TYLER, Texas — The Visit Tyler has announced its participation in the Brew City, Texas program, making Tyler a "brew city".

As a member of the program, which was launched by the Texas Craft Brewers Guild in March 2024, Tyler hopes to affirm its dedication to promoting craft beer tourism.

“We are excited to put Tyler, Texas, on the map as a Brew City! Thank you to Visit Tyler and the community here for helping True Vine fulfill its dreams. Our goal is not to just be a brewery in the city but a brewery for the city," Ryan Dixon, co-owner of True Vine Brewing Company said.

Tyler is one of many cities across the state to participate in the program including, Boerne, Conroe, Denton, Galveston, Lubbock, McKinney.

"The Brew City, Texas, program represents a significant milestone in the Texas Craft Brewers Guild’s efforts to support and elevate the craft brewing industry in Texas," Caroline Wallace, TCBG Executive Director said. "By collaborating with cities like Tyler who are committed to celebrating the unique culture and flavors of Texas craft beer, we aim to drive tourism, stimulate local economies, and further establish Texas as a world-class beer destination.”
