NACOGDOCHES, Texas — Two Nacogdoches residents accused of selling and distributing cocaine and methamphetamine were arrested Thursday following month-long investigation.
Willie Marcell Ballard, 35, and Samantha Inez Wallin, 35, were arrested after investigators developed information indicating they were responsible for the sale and distribution of drugs in Nacogdoches and surrounding counties, according to the Nacogdoches County Sherriff's Office.
According to the sheriff's office, Ballard is charged with two counts of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. He was also charged for being out of compliance with his duty to register as a sex offender.
Wallin faces charges of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana, according to the NCSO media release.
The arrests were made following a raid at Ballard's home where NCSO deputies recovered more than 1.5 ounces of methamphetamine, as well as cocaine and marijuana, the sheriff's office said.
