TENAHA, Texas — Tenaha ISD recently named its lone finalist for the district's superintendent position.
Jerrod Campbell is currently the high school principal at Timpson High School. Campbell has spent nearly 25 years in education working in a variety of roles including coach, teacher, assistant principal and more.
Campbell attended East Texas Baptist University then finished his M.Ed and superintendent certification from Stephen F. Austin State University, the district said Thursday in a Facebook post.
Campbell says he is excited to meet Tiger Nation; creating relationships and connecting with staff, students and the community on both a professional and personal level.
“It’s hard sometimes to look forward to a job, no one really loves a job all the time. However, it’s the people who make you look forward to each day and what you do," Campbell said.
