Police looking for driver after pregnant woman loses child in Palestine hit-and-run crash

According to Palestine Police, a woman was struck in 1500 block of E. Palestine Ave on July 3.

PALESTINE, Texas — Police are searching for information after a car hit a pregnant woman in Palestine on July 3.

According to the Palestine Police, a woman was struck in 1500 block of E. Palestine Ave. 

Police said the woman was crossing the road with a group of people when she was struck. The vehicle, a white or silver passenger car, did not stop and headed east on Highway 79 after the crash.

The woman, who lost the child due to incident, was flown to a Tyler hospital where she remains in critical condition. 

At this moment, officials are searching for any information regarding this incident.
