NACOGDOCHES, Texas — The Nacogdoches Police Department announced Thursday, they took first place at the Harris County Sheriff's Office Foundation's annual Sharpshooters Team Challenge on Sept. 26.
Sergeants Tyler Trout, Ty Birdwell, Detective Jonathon Bell and Lieutenant Nick Stewart represented Nacogdoches Police at the competition, which took place at the Athena Gun Club in Houston.
Winning the money provided fundraising for the department.
