Longview man charged in February pedestrian death

Darensbourg was one of 32 people charged with crimes by the grand jury May 15 and 16.

LONGVIEW, Texas — A Gregg County grand jury in the 188th District Court has charged a 46-year-old Longview man with intoxication manslaughter in connection with a Feb. 26 wreck.

Lantz Darensbourg was arrested after Longview police said he “was driving west on W. Hope Dr, left the roadway striking a pedestrian and a vehicle." The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital and later died.

Darensbourg was one of 32 people charged with crimes by the grand jury May 15 and 16.
