LONGVIEW, Texas — An annual survey by Keep Longview Beautiful found the city’s litter problem has grown since the pandemic.
The nonprofit organization is working with the city of Longview on a new campaign for May that aims to reverse that trend by creatively engaging residents with social media videos. The campaign is called "Less Littered Longview."
“For every new follower on our Instagram and Facebook platforms, we're going to go pick up one piece of litter,” said Zachary Korthals, executive director of Keep Longview Beautiful.
