Kilgore man gets federal prison time for trafficking meth in Gregg County

Rodney Fagans, 39, of Kilgore pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute meth and sentenced to 15 years in federal prison.

KILGORE, Texas — An East Texas man has been sentenced to federal prison for trafficking meth in Gregg County.

Rodney Fagans, 39, of Kilgore, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute meth and sentenced to 15 years in federal prison.

According to officials, Fagans and his co-conspirators admitted to selling meth on numerous occasions in Gregg County and was identified as the supplier for three separate illegal drug transactions totaling 598.72 grams of meth. 

Fifteen others involved in the drug distribution scheme have pleaded guilty and have been sentenced to federal prison.
