Community comes together for prayer vigil honoring Tyler man last seen 3 months ago

"God knows how much we've prayed and continue to pray," Harley Morris' mother Wendi Attaway Morris said.

TYLER, Texas — Family, friends and community members gathered on Sunday afternoon in a prayer vigil to honor Harley Morris who was last three months ago to the date.

Surveillance video shows the 29-year-old leaving what used to be the 50 Grand Club in Tyler near Texas College. Morris was last seen wearing a Prime 102 hat, black shoes with a black and gray hoodie.

"God knows how much we've prayed and continue to pray," said Harley Morris' mother Wendi Attaway Morris.

Prayer is the answer for the Harley Morris' mother as the search for her son continues.

"Our days are absolutely empty without you," Wendi Morris said.

Sunday’s prayer vigil comes as there are no new leads in the search three months since he was last seen.

Wendi Morris is pleading for the public to come forward with any information they may have about where her son could’ve gone that night.

"We just want information to find Harley that is our main concern. That’s all we’re concerned with," she said.

She and her family have a community of support behind them, whether it’s friends, family or complete strangers hand-in-hand.

"It just means so much that people care. People really do care," she said.

At Sunday's vigil, Wendi read aloud a letter meant for Harley.

"There are so many memories of you. I can go on and on," she said.

A lot of those memories shared at the vigil brought joy and laughter.

"You are loved by so many, anyone you meet you open your heart, and you offer your help or an ear to listen," Wendi Morris said.

Harley's brother Taylor Attaway said he had fond memories with his brother.

"He said what he meant. He says what he means, always building up everyone up around him," Attaway said.

Casey Muze, One of Harley Morris' friends, prayed for his safe return and for the family to have strength during this difficult time.

"Harley will tell you stories about fish that you probably never wanted to know or desired to know, but (he) will do it in a place that is joyful that will leave you still listening and entertained because of his mannerisms," Muze said. "(I hope) that there is some type of clue of where we can start next to locate him."

In the meantime, Wendi Morris will continue to search for her son and ask anyone with information to come forward.

"You know your mother. I will not stop. This is for you. We're desperate, please," Wendi Morris said.

Crime Stoppers is also offering a $1,000 reward for any information regarding Harley Morris’ whereabouts. This reward is different from a reward that Circle M Crawfish is offering. The Morris family is also offering another $5,000 reward.
