Cirque Italia to perform in Tyler this weekend

The show is inspired by the element of water, the acts express versatility and fluidity through human movement.

TYLER, Texas — If you have driven by the Broadway Square Mall in Tyler, you have probably noticed the white tent. 

That is because Cirque Italia is in town, this family-friendly event could be perfect if you are looking for some indoor events for spring break. 

Cirque Italia is the first traveling water circus in the United States, according to their spokesperson Morgaine Rosenthal. 

According to the shows website, the show is inspired by the element of water, the acts express versatility and fluidity through human movement while curtains of rain and fountain jets crisscross in time to each move. Laser lights and bubbles also add to the interdimensional effect. In a nod to the inner child, mermaids rise from the depths, and even dinosaurs make an appearance.
