Several nonprofit organizations and businesses across East Texas will be closed or delay opening Tuesday, Jan. 16, due to the wintry weather.
- All UT Health East Texas Physicians clinics, except for the walk-in clinic on South Broadway Ave. in Tyler and UT Health Urgent Care in Mineola, will be closed Jan. 16. . The Mineola clinic will be open from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Tuesday. The South Broadway Ave. clinic in Tyler will be open from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m., All clinics are scheduled to open for normal hours beginning Wednesday, Jan. 17. - All Christus clinics in the Northeast Texas Region are closed Tuesday, Jan. 16, except for the clinics in Sulphur Springs and Canton. Hospitals and emergency rooms will remain open and fully operational.
- All public offices in Upshur County will continue to be closed Wednesday, Jan. 17.
