HOUSTON — Hurricane Beryl continues its track through the Caribbean. The major hurricane, which as of Wednesday morning was a Cat. 4 with max sustained winds of 145 miles per hour, made a landfall on Monday on Grenada's Carriacou Island, then was taking aim at Jamaica.
The storm caused storm surge and wind damage all across the Caribbean. Below are some of the scenes from Hurricane Beryl's devastation and destruction. The storm is continuing its path to the west-northwest and most models have it going into the Yucatan Peninsula later this week. It's a storm that the KHOU 11 Weather Team is watching very closely.
