TYLER, Texas — Good morning East Texas,
Cool air is settling in over the Piney Woods. Plan for a pleasant afternoon with highs in the low 70s. High pressure will gain control of the weather pattern and take us back to well-above-average temperatures. That all changes next week. A strong cold front will usher in cold air and 55 degree afternoons.
TODAY:
Don't forget the jacket as you head out the door this morning. Early morning temperatures are chilling in the 40s. Once the sunshine arrives, we will warm to the upper 60s and low 70s. Combine a light wind with a comfortable temperature, and you've got a simply spectacular weather day.
TOMORROW:
The work week is ending with another day of fantastic weather. A few clouds will dot the skies, but we will enjoy lots of sunshine. The afternoon will feel nice as temperatures climb to the mid 70s with light breezes. Things are cooling down overnight with lows reaching the mid 40s. Skies will stay clear, so you'll have a great view of the supermoon! This is the last supermoon of the year, so you won't want to miss it!
