No students injured in Bullard ISD school bus crash

According to the Communication Director Amy Pawlac, six students and two adult aids were on the bus at the time of the crash but no one was injured.

BULLARD, Texas — **EDITOR'S NOTE -- the video attached is not related to the story.

No injuries reported in a crash involving a Bullard Independent School District school bus today.

On Aug. 23 at around 3:45 p.m., a BISD school bus was involved in a crash with another vehicle. Bullard Fire Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety troopers are on the scene of the crash, which is located at the intersection of Country Road 181 and Farm-to-Market 344 W.

According to the BISD Communication Director Amy Pawlac, six students and two adult aids were on the bus at the time of the crash but no one was injured. The bus involved was bus E1, and another bus is being sent to pick the students up and continue their return route home.

Pawlac has informed CBS19 that the bus driver has been transported to a local hospital out of precaution. 

Drivers are cautioned to avoid the area and to expect delays in traffic flow. 

Details are limited regarding the crash and CBS19 will update when more information is available.
