VAN ZANDT COUNTY, Texas — One person is dead after hitting a culvert on State Highway 64 in Van Zandt County last week.
According to the Department of Public Safety, Michael Miller, 65, died in a single-vehicle crash on SH 64, just 5 miles east of Canton on December 27 at around 4 p.m.
The investigation revealed Miller was driving a 2022 Nissan Sentra east of SH 64 when he left the roadway and hit a concrete culvert.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
