TYLER - The UT Tyler baseball team has one more regular season series this weekend. After that, the Patriots will play in the ASC Tournament.
But all of those games will be on the road. So on Tuesday night, the Patriots played their final home game of the year as they took on Southwestern.
And this game was all UT Tyler. The Patriots scored in a number of ways and in a number of innings. It was relatively close for awhile, but the Patriots blew it open late, scoring 5 in the 6th and 4 in the 8th. And they would go on to win their home finale 15-5.
UT Tyler will close out the regular season this weekend when they play a 3-game series at LeTourneau.
