TYLER- Before she stepped foot on the University of Texas at Tyler campus, Jeannette Mosher was a highly decorated basketball coach with an illustrious career. Now Mosher will continue her legacy in Tyler, as the head coach of the UT Tyler women's basketball team.
Mosher comes to Tyler after 20 years at SUNY Courtland. Throughout her tenure in Courtland, she led the Red Dragons to five conference tournament championships, eight NCAA postseason appearances, in addition to numerous other accolades.
She's excited to be in Tyler, and knew this was the place she wanted to continue her coaching career. "If you're going to make a move after 20 years, you want it to be at a place where you have a great opportunity to compete and enjoy going to work everyday," Mosher stated.
Mosher officially began her tenure as UT Tyler's head women's basketball coach on July 1.
