When and where will the Texas Rangers' World Series parade and celebration take place?

The Texas Rangers just won the first World Series title in the franchise's 62-year history! Here's how they'll celebrate it.

ARLINGTON, Texas — The Texas Rangers are World Series champs!

Rangers fans have been waiting more than 50 years for this moment. And you can bet your bottom dollar, they'll be ready to celebrate it, too.

But where, exactly, will they -- in an official capacity, anyway -- be doing that?

In Dallas? In Fort Worth? In Arlington?

That last one, it turns out!

Here are the details:

Where is the Rangers World Series parade?

Arlington's Entertainment District will host the parade in the area of the Rangers' Globe Life Field and AT&T Stadium, Arlington city officials and league officials confirmed.

What is the Rangers World Series parade route?

A section on Major League Baseball's website revealed Friday's parade route. Per MLB, the parade will start along Cowboys Way near Lot A, makes its way up AT&T Way, then turns east on Road to Six Flags before finishing at Globe Life Field off Stadium Drive.

The city said the route will go in a clockwise fashion for 1.9 miles, beginning at the Supra Lot A, and then loop along the route back to Lot A.

Arlington Mayor Jim Ross said the parade is "a dream five decades in the making." 

What time is the Rangers World Series parade?

12:15 p.m., according to the city. The parade is expected to last about an hour.

Who will be in the Rangers World Series parade?

The Rangers! Well, that's a no-brainer. But also: Arlington Mayor Jim Ross, the Arlington City  Council, Arlington police and fire officials and the Arlington ISD marching bands, according to city and school officials.

What about the post-parade celebration?

After the parade route concludes, the Rangers will host a 30-minute celebration on the north plaza of Globe Life Field, near Texas Live!.

Rangers executives, players and manager Bruce Bochy are all expected to address the crowd, per the release.

Where can you park for the Rangers World Series parade?

The city says free parking will be available surrounding Globe Life Field, Choctaw Stadium. AT&T Stadium and the Esports Stadium Arlington + Expo Center and will open to the public at 8 a.m. Friday. 

The Live! by Loews parking garage, Cowboys parking Lot 3, 4 and 5 and Rangers’ parking lots A, B, K, R and T, all of which are inside the parade route, will be closed to vehicles before and during the festivities.

The city says designated handicap parking spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis in the Texas Rangers parking lost on the north, east and southeast sides of the parade route. 

Where are the restrooms and concessions? 

Public restrooms can be accessed through the north and west entrances of Choctaw Stadium. The city says concession will also be available through those same entrances. 

What streets will be closed?

Here's the list, according to the city:

  • Cowboys Way between AT&T Way and Stadium Drive
  • AT&T Way between Cowboys Way and Nolan Ryan Expressway
  • Nolan Ryan Expressway between AT&T Way and E Road to Six Flags Drive
  • E Road to Six Flags Drive between Nolan Ryan Expressway and Ballpark Way
  • Ballpark Way between E Road to Six Flags Drive and Cowboys Way
  • Randol Mill Road will also be closed between AT&T Way and Ballpark Way
