COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Texas A&M University made headlines when they teased their Halloween-themed "blackout" uniforms earlier this week.
Texas A&M asks fans, "y'all ready #12thMan?" in their post on X revealing the uniform kit on Thursday night. The video, which was posted at 5 p.m. on Thursday, already has over 4,000 likes and more than 1,200 reposts.
In the video, the jersey and pants are all black with white numbers and letters to identify players. The SEC patch on the front of the jersey is trimmed in a silver tone. Helmets, switched out of the usual maroon and white, are now white and black. A cursive "Aggies" lays across the sides while a miniature "Aggies" rests across the front. The pants are black.
Currently third on the team in tackling, sophomore defensive back Dalton Brooks is in the video.
Texas A&M teased the design earlier this week. On Tuesday, Aggies Head Coach Mike Elko and the players encouraged fans to wear black via X.
Aggies football posted three times on Facebook on Thursday to show the uniforms as well as promotional pictures of the complete outfit. Collectively, those posts have drawn more than 5,000 reactions in less than 24 hours.
