TYLER, Texas — Haynes King has made a big splash in his first season at Georgia Tech and in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
Once again, the Longview High School graduate had another big game in leading the Yellow Jackets to a 46-42 win over No. 17 North Carolina on Saturday in Atlanta.
King's performance earned him The Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award National Player of the Week for the ninth week of the college football season, Cindy Smoak, SPORTyler Executive Director, announced on Tuesday.
