Spring Hill comes into their second game of district play at 0-1 ready to take on Liberty Eylau and hopefully gain their first district win in four years. Liberty Eylau had unfortunate luck in the previous game with a fight, which lead to a full game suspension for most of the Varsity players.
Spring Hill came out hard in the first half scoring six touchdowns before the half. Liberty Eylau was unable to score due to Spring Hill’s consistency to keep Liberty Eylau from getting first downs. Penalties also played a big roll in the game as Liberty Eylau was constantly plagued by penalties resulting in major loss of yards.
Spring Hill didn’t let Liberty Eylau score until the 4th quarter after Coach Louvier decided to send in the JV team.
In the end, Spring Hill came out on top 56-7.
Next week's match up will prove to be a challenge as they come up against the number one team in the state: Pleasant Grove.
