Van Zandt County Sheriff's Office seeks missing teen

According to the VZCSO, Emily Marie Rosamond, 15, was last seen on Sunday between the hours of 10 p.m. and 1 a.m. at her home on Van Zandt County Road 1216 in Grand Saline.

VAN ZANDT COUNTY, Texas — The Van Zandt County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the whereabouts of a 15-year-old girl who went missing on Sunday.

According to the VZCSO, Emily Marie Rosamond was last seen on Sunday between the hours of 10 p.m. and 1 a.m. at her home on Van Zandt County Road 1216 in Grand Saline. 

Authorities describe Rosamond as standing 5'5" and weighing 120 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was reportedly wearing dark-colored pants with white designs, a turquoise shirt and Adidas tennis shoes when she disappeared.

The sheriff's office also noted she is shown wearing glasses in the pictures provided, but she no longer wears them.

The teen also has a scar on her right arm near her elbow.

Officials say she left her home without taking any extra clothing, food, personal items or her medication.
