TYLER, Texas — Tyler hospitals have adjusted staffing in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Christus Trinity Mother Frances Hospital and UT Health East Texas both provided statements about recent staffing adjustments. The Tyler Morning Telegraph has reached out to representatives of Baylor, Scott and White Texas Spine and Joint Hospital about staffing several times over the past week, but has not received a response.
Christus TMF President Chris Glenney said in a statement that the hospital has seen significant declines in the number of patients and elective procedures due to coronavirus as a result of patients adhering to stay-at-home orders and only seeking immediate essential care.
