KILGORE (KYTX) - A suspect wanted in connection to a shooting at a Kilgore apartment complex has turned himself in, according to Kilgore Police.
Demetrius Dirail Alex, 31 of Longview, has been identified and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and deadly conduct, both felonies.
The charges stemmed from a shooting which occurred on Feb. 28 at the Stone Creek Apartments in Kilgore.
A warrant was issued for his arrest shortly before he turned himself in.
All persons involved in this incident have been identified and additional criminal charges are pending.
The person who suffered multiple gunshot wounds is still hospitalized at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview. He is listed in critical but stable condition.
The victim's name is not being released at this time.
The Kilgore Police Department Criminal Investigative Unit is actively investigating this case.
