SAN ANTONIO — The Shelbyville Dragons will play for the UIL 2A boys basketball state title on Saturday against the Gruver Greyhounds.
The Dragons punched their ticket to San Antonio last week with a 55-39 win over the Grapeland Sandies in the UIL 2A Region III finals.
Shelbyville defeated the Hearne Eagles 83-51 Friday morning to advance to the championship game. Gruver took down Martin's Mill 55-42 earlier in the day.
The game tips off at 1:30 p.m. at the Alamodome.
