GLADEWATER, Texas — A prayer vigil to honor the life of a Gladewater Elementary School student David Tyson Small, 10, who passed away on Friday has been rescheduled
According to Gladewater Independent School District, a public gathering was initially scheduled take place on Monday at 4 p.m. at Weldon Elementary School. School officials say it will now be held at a later date.
GISD says school counselors and the Gladewater Ministerial Alliance will be on hand at the school on Monday to assist students and staff members with their grief.
A GoFundMe has been created to help the family with Small's service expenses.
