TYLER, Texas — East Texans will head to the polls on Nov. 7, for the 2023 General Election. CBS19, your East Texas Election Experts, will be here all night to tally live election results. In addition to determining 14 statewide propositions dealing with issues such as property taxes and high-speed broadband internet access, voters in Gregg County will also vote on school and county bonds. City of Nacogdoches Prop. A - Shall the City Council of the City of Nacogdoches, Texas, be authorized to issue general obligation bonds of the City in the principal amount of $7,300,000 for permanent public improvements and public purposes, to wit: designing, developing, engineering, constructing, enlarging, improving and equipping airport improvements at the City’s airport, including runways, taxiways, roadways, terminal buildings, aprons, fuel centers, parking lots, and other facilities incident and related to the operation of the City’s airport and acquiring lands, interests in lands, and rights-of-way related thereto; such bonds to mature serially or otherwise over a period not to exceed thirty (30) years from their date of issuance, to be issued and sold in one or more series at any price or prices and to bear interest at any rate or rates (fixed, floating, variable or otherwise) as shall be determined within the discretion of the City Council at the time of issuance or sale of the bonds; and shall the City Council of the City be authorized to levy and pledge and cause to be assessed and collected, annual and ad valorem taxes, within the limitations prescribed bylaw, on all taxable property in the City sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds and the cost of any credit agreements executed in connection with the bonds?

City of Nacogdoches Prop.
