LONGVIEW (KYTX) - The Pine Tree ISD Pirate Stadium is scheduled to host the football game against Texas High on Friday, where patrons will find the entrances and exits of the stadium redefined.

The stadium has three public entrances available during the Friday night game: 1) the main entrance at 3737 W. Loop 281, 2) an entrance at Cotton Street, leading to Lear Park, and 3) one at HG Mosley Parkway, also leading into Lear Park. The main entrance off Loop 281, considered the main entrance is dedicated to home side parking. Visitors will be routed to one of the two entrances leading to Lear Park, off Cotton Street or HG Mosley. The entrance leading to the campuses will not be open. A sign will be posted directing traffic to either the home or visitor side parking lots. Once stadium lots are full, a sign will be displayed for cars to begin parking at alternate locations.

Parking lots for stadium parking include: 1) Home side parking lot, visitor parking lot, campus parking lots (for two campuses nearby), and Lear parking lots, which are the most remote. Shuttle bus service will begin at 6:30pm from the Lear lot and the campus lots, and run continually throughout the night, and after the game has completed. A shuttle bus pick up and drop off point will be available on both sides of the stadium.

"We gained some valuable insights after the first two events," said Mr. James Skeeler, Assistant Superintendent. "We want to solve the issue of getting people into the facility and parked in a safe and orderly manner. We may not get all the kinks worked out just like we want them, but our goal is to provide an enjoyable experience for all involved."

If you have any questions related to the stadium entrances or parking, please call the district's Assistant Superintendent, James Skeeler, 903-295-5000.
