No presumptive positive or positive cases in Angelina, Polk and San Augustine Counties, according to Health District

ANGELINA COUNTY, Texas — According to Angelina County & Health District Director Sharon Saw, no presumptive positive or positive tests for COVID-19 in Angelina, Polk and San Augustine counties.

According to an article from The Lufkin Daily News, numerous rumors spread that hospital and emergency rooms In Angelina County have encountered positive or presumptive positive tests for the virus. Health Director Sharon Shaw says, this is not the case.

According to the CDC, the United States currently has 3,487 cases and 68 deaths associated to the virus.

On Monday, the White House recommended that people stay home and avoid groups of ten people or more.
