Longview police arrest woman charged with trying to run over boyfriend

LONGVIEW, Texas — Longview policed arrested a woman Thursday morning after she tried to run over her boyfriend, according to a report.

Brittany R. Bean, 26, of Longview was being held Friday on a $10,000 bond in Gregg County Jail on a charge of aggravated assault with a weapon on a date/family/household member, jail records show.

Police arrested Bean at 10 a.m. Thursday after being dispatched to the 700 block of Sylvan Drive and talking to a man who said Bean tried to run over him during an argument near the Newgate Mission on Mobberly Avenue, the report said.
