East Texas woman wins $5,000 jewelry shopping spree in 2024 Tyler Cattle Baron's Ball raffle

Dana Reeder had her ticket drawn to win this year's shopping spree. She has attended the benefit for several years, and this is her first time winning.

TYLER, Texas — A lucky Troup woman got to go on a $5,000 shopping spree after winning the 2024 Tyler Cattle Baron's Ball Jewelry Charitable raffle drawing presented by Susan Robinson.

Dana Reeder had her ticket drawn to win this year's shopping spree. She has attended the benefit for several years, and this is her first time winning.

Reeder purchased six tickets in support of the Tyler Ball benefiting the American Cancer Society. She said the biggest prize is supporting a cause that is important to her.

"American cancer society is really important to my family," Reeder said. "We've had three immediate family members who have passed away from cancer: my mom my sister-in-law, and my brother in law."

Reeder added it's important for her to help sponsor cancer research and support for patients. As for her giveaway, she plans to spend her money on some new jewelry with her daughters.

The Tyler Cattle Baron's Ball is the primary fundraiser for the American Cancer Society of Tyler. More information on ACS programs in East Texas can be found here. To support the Tyler Cattle Baron's Ball, visit their website or call 903-570-8126.
