WHITEHOUSE, Texas — The city of Whitehouse will pause recycling collection until further notice after a fire broke out at Rivers Recycling in Liberty City Wednesday evening.
According to a Facebook post, "Republic Services will continue to collect the contents of curbside recycling carts which will be taken to the landfill until Rivers Recycling is able to rebuild."
The city of Longview has also paused recycling collection, while the city of Tyler said its collection would not be impacted this week but will provide more information on Friday.
