WHITEHOUSE, Texas — Whitehouse ISD says a potential threat against schools in the East Texas area reported Wednesday morning has been deemed not credible.
According to a statement from Whitehouse ISD, administrators are working closely with local law enforcement and officials believe the threat is not credible.
"All Whitehouse ISD students are safe and secure on campus," the statement said. "Any updates will be promptly communicated to families. At this time, school will remain on a normal schedule."
The school district told the Tyler Morning Telegraph the campuses have never been under a lockdown on Wednesday.
