UPSHUR COUNTY, Texas — A White Oak man was killed after a one-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Upshur County.
The crash occurred on Farm-to-Market Road 726, near the East Mountain community, at about 4 p.m.
The preliminary crash report indicates the driver of a pickup towing a utility trailer, identified as Landon Casey Brittain, 31, was traveling north on FM 1845, ran the stop sign at the FM 726 intersection and skidded into the north bar ditch. The pickup rolled onto its left side, partially ejecting the Brittain who was pronounced at the scene by Justice of the Peace Rhonda Welch.
The crash remains under investigation.
