RUSK COUNTY, Texas — An East Texas man accused of attempting to steal 21 guns from a home near Lake Cherokee was arrested Sunday.
Mark Wiggins, 65, of White Oak, has been charged with burglary, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, and theft of a firearm, according to the Rusk County Sheriff's Office. He was booked into the Rusk County Justice Center and received bonds totaling $65,000.
Officers conducted a search of his truck after probable cause was found and confiscated 21 guns from his vehicle.

Rusk County Sheriff Johnwayne Valdez said that this is an ongoing investigation, and no further information will be released at this time.
