LONGVIEW, Texas — The Great Texas Balloon Race in Longview announced the entertainment lineup for the 2020 event.
The headliner will be Whiskey Myers, a chart-topping country band from Palestine. The band topped the Billboard Top Country Album charts with their eponymous album. The bands sound is a mix of the Nashville sound with Southern Rock.
The band has more than 300 million streams for their music.
Cody Wayne will also be featured Saturday night. In 2018, he won the Big Star Music Awards' Entertainer of the Year and Texas County Music Awards' New Male Vocalist of the Year.
Little Texas, who has been in the country business since 1992, will headline Friday night. The band has sold more than 7 million albums, won a CMA Album of the Year title and has the distinction of "The Hardest Working Band in Country" due to their grueling tour schedule.
Georgia native Faren Rachels will open Friday night. She was named as one of 2018's news Country Artists to Watch by Rolling Stone magazine.
