Walmart, Sam's Club teaming up for fundraiser benefiting Christus Trinity Mother Frances

During the "Spark Good, Change Kids' Health" campaign, customers will be able to donate at checkout, online or through the Walmart app.

TYLER, Texas — Walmart and Sam's Club set to host fundraiser that will benefit Christus Trinity Mother Frances Health System through Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. 

During the "Spark Good, Change Kids' Health" campaign, customers will be able to donate at checkout, online or through the Walmart app by rounding up and selecting your local CMN Hospitals partner.

According to the press release, donations made through the campaign directly benefit local patients and their families by providing medical equipment, research and care programs.

“Walmart and Sam’s Club Associates have the biggest heart for the kids of East Texas. Whether it’s embracing their annual CMN Hospitals campaign, planning fundraising events at their store locations or attending hospital tours and meeting local families of sick children, you won’t find a more gracious, ambitious group of people,” Christina Mosier, CMN Hospitals manager at Christus Trinity Mother Frances Foundation said. "Their values start within the organization, and Walmart and Sam’s Club associates care about improving the lives of children in their communities.”

The fundraiser will run from June 10 through July 7. According to the press release, the goal is to raise more the $175,000.
