TYLER, Texas — The UT Tyler Ben and Maytee Fisch College of Pharmacy this week partnered with East Texas colleges and universities for a program that seeks to strengthen the pipeline of locally trained pharmacists.
The Early Assurance Program gives students pathways to a successful career in the pharmaceutical field by giving them workshops on applying for pharmacy school, mentorship and professional development opportunities.
“This collaboration marks an exciting chapter for the Fisch College of Pharmacy and our local institutions,” said President Julie V. Philley. “By partnering with these exceptional institutions, we are paving the way for students to pursue their passion for pharmacy and health care, while staying rooted in the communities they know and love.”

- Sam Houston State University
- Stephen F. Austin State University
- Trinity Valley Community College
