GILMER, Texas — An Upshur County man has been sentenced to life in prison for multiple counts of child sexual assault.
According to the Upshur County District Attorney's Office, Allen Ray Reppond was found guilty of aggravated sexual assault of two children and sentenced to life in prison
District Judge Dean Fowler also sentenced Reppond with two twenty year sentences for indecency with a child.
In November 2023, one of the victims mothers became concerned about things she had heard regarding Reppond. Following Reppond's arrest, a second victim came forward.
