TYLER - Police have released the name of the person killed in a three-vehicle wreck Friday afternoon on Hwy 271.
54-year-old Lilia Amparo LeCroy of Winona was pronounced dead at the scene. She was a passenger in a Nissan Exterra that was struck by an 18- wheeler traveling south on Hwy 271.
Police report the driver of the Exterra failed to yield the right of way to the tractor trailer that was attempting to turn left on the Loop 323 extension.
The accident occurred around shortly after 4:00 p.m.
The Loop 323 extension and both lanes of Hwy 271 are back open.
