TYLER, Texas — The Tyler Police Department received a special gift from the K9 Defender Fund.
According to the department, Tyler PD K9 Dino received a Buddy Bag, loaded with K9 first aid equipment, and a K9 oxygen mask.
The department also received a AceK9 Heat Alarm donated by Protection4Paws. The alarm notifies an officer when the temperature conditions in the back seat to make sure the animal is safe.
