Tina Yancey says blue. house of jewelry will close after six years in business.

TYLER, Texas — A beloved Tyler jewelry store known for its custom pieces is closing its doors.

Tina Yancey, owner of blue. house of jewelry, is retiring and closing her retail storefront after six years in business.

blue. opened in February 2017 at 7428 Old Jacksonville Hwy., in front of Swann's Furniture and Design, and was named the Best in Town winner by the Tyler Morning Telegraph in 2022 and 2023.

"Thank you my dear friends and clients," Yancey said. "It has been a joy servicing your jewelry. blue. house of jewelry is successful making this decision difficult, but I am excited to be retiring from retail. I can focus more on my health, spending more time with family and traveling."

Yancey says she will continue as a part-time custom jewelry designer/concierge.

Starting Thursday, Nov. 9, the store will hold a sale with everything in stock up to 70% off.

"Don’t miss this chance to own a beautiful piece of jewelry," Yancey said.
