TYLER, Texas — Crews will be working to replace traffic signal cabinets throughout Tyler.
Starting June 25 through June 27, crews will be working at several intersections throughout Tyler between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. to replace traffic signal cabinets as part of the Intelligent Traffic System Master Plan, which includes technology enhancements at signalized intersections. During this time, drivers should anticipate traffic delays.
The following intersections will be affected:
- Grande Boulevard and Hollytree Drive
- Loop 323 and South Broadway Avenue
- Loop 323 and Frankston Highway
- Loop 323 and Old Bullard Road
- Old Bullard Road and Rice Road
- Beckham Avenue and Hospital Drive
The Tyler Police Department will have officers present to help direct the flow of traffic. During this time, the city of Tyler is asking drivers to use alternative routes and to use caution while traveling down these roads.
