Tyler Animal Shelter offering free adoptions in November with donations to benefit Breckenridge Village

Animals from the Tyler Animal Services are spayed/neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. Typical fees are $120 for dogs and $80 for cats.

TYLER, Texas — During November, Tyler Animal Control and Shelter is waiving adoption fees for dogs and cats through donations of movies, word search books, coloring books, colored pencils or Sharpies.

The city of Tyler said the shelter is accepting $50 worth of G or PG movies and the other items instead of adoption fees. The donations will be given to residents of Breckenridge Village, a residential community for adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities.
