Tyler airport director says the coronavirus is not affecting travel, proactive measures being taken

TYLER, Texas — In light of the latest coronavirus developments, the Tyler Pounds Regional Airport is taking preventative measures by amping up their existing sanitation methods.

Both American and Frontier, which fly in and out of Tyler, also are taking a proactive approach.

According to Airport Director Davis Dickson, the airport has not seen an increase in flight cancellations, and he is confident in the sanitation measures the airport has in place.
