OFFICIALS: Two arrested for attempting to sell stolen materials in Titus County

Both of the individuals have been arrested for state jail felony offence of theft of property in addition to having two or more prior convictions for theft.

TITUS COUNTY, Texas — Two people have been arrested for attempting to sell stolen materials on Wednesday in Titus County.

According to the sheriff's office, investigators arrested Troy Blackwell, 50, and Krista Blackwell, 49, in connection to selling suspicious materials unique to the XTO property in Titus County.

Investigators were able to confirm the stolen property was in connection to a previous sale made from XTO. 

Both of the individuals have been arrested for state jail felony offence of theft of property in addition to having two or more prior convictions for theft.

Blackwell is currently in the Titus County Jail on a warrant relating to motion to enforce child support out of Red River County.
