TYLER, Texas — With a “five, six, seven, eight," two dozen Apache Belles high kicked to the fast tempo of Jingle Bells on the stage inside Rogers Palmer Performing Arts Center at Tyler Junior College. Then conducted a ripple before joining a perfect line to prepare for Rockettes-style kick line.
Under the direction of former Apache Belle Jasilyn Schaefer, the precision dance team acts as ambassadors for TJC, making appearances in the H-E-B Thanksgiving Day Parade in Houston as well as many philanthropic events in East Texas and traveling all over the world.
Right now, they are preparing for their second annual Christmas Extravaganza, set for this Saturday.
