TYLER, Texas — The East Texas State Fair is excited to announce that tickets for the 108th annual event will go on sale starting today! The Fair, which runs from September 20-29, 2024, promises a fantastic lineup of attractions and entertainment for all ages.
This year’s fair will feature an array of activities, including high-flying motocross shows, pig races and Swifty the Swimming Pig, live concerts, and more! Families can enjoy the petting zoo, view the intricate art of glass blowing, and enjoy countless adventures throughout the fairgrounds.
“This year, we’re opening at a new location, offering a fresh experience with new attractions and entertainment for the whole family,” said Cody Rosenbalm, CEO/President. “We’re here to make this year’s Fair unforgettable and look forward to welcoming everyone at our new grounds.”
In addition to daily attractions, the Fair is proud to honor our heroes and first responders with special themed days. Military Appreciation Day will be held on Monday, September 23, offering free admission to all active and retired military personnel with valid ID. First Responder Day will follow on Wednesday, September 25, celebrating the bravery and dedication of our first responders with free admission for police officers, firefighters, and EMS with a valid ID.
Tickets for the Fair are priced at $12 for adults, $6 for children ages 5-12, and children under 5 get in free. Carnival wristbands are $37 for unlimited rides on any one day. Early bird discounts are available for those who purchase their tickets before September 20. Tickets can be purchased online at www.etstatefair.com starting August 1. This year's fair will be held at a new location at 11315A State Highway 64W Tyler, TX 75704. Parking is on-site and free for all visitors, with entrance access off Paton Lane.
