Three ejected, including 10-month-old child, after vehicle rollover in Everman

Investigators believe that none of the vehicle's occupants were wearing the proper restraints.

EVERMAN, Texas — Three people were ejected from their vehicle after a rollover crash in Everman Monday afternoon, police said.

One of the victims injured was a 10-month-old.

The single-vehicle crash happened in the 1900 block of Everman Parkway. Police found a pickup truck flipped over on its roof, according to a press release from Everman Emergency Services.

The three victims ejected from the car were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, Everman PD said. They are currently listed in critical condition and the infant is undergoing intensive care, according to the release. The driver, who was not ejected, was treated at a hospital with minor injuries.

Excessive speed contributed to the crash, investigators found. Officials believe none of the vehicle's occupants were wearing safety restraints, according to the release.

Eastbound Everman Parkway is closed from Christopher Drive to Race Street, allowing investigators to work the scene safely. The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office is assisting with the investigation.

The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.

This is a developing story WFAA will provide updates once they become available.
